Good Night actor Manikandan next with debutant director Prabhu Ram Vyas titled "Lover". Modern Love Chennai-fame Gouri Priya Reddy playing the leading lady.
The makers revealed the film official teaser. It gives the audience a glimpse of a college love story and the coming-of-age drama later portrays the couple breaking up. The female lead's departure for another man becomes an important moment, exploring the male lead's journey to overcome the loss of love.
Vyas previously directed the web series 'LIVIN', which starred Kanna Ravi, Amrutha Srinivasan in prominent roles.

The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer Shreyaas Krishna and editor Barath Vikraman. The music of the movie is composed by Sean Rolden.
Million Dollar Studios and M R P Entertainment, who backed Manikandan's hit film Good Night, are also producing Lover.
The film is set for its release in theatres on February 14, 2024.
